Tentoonstelling De vrouwen van Soestdijk - 12 oktober '24 t/m 7 februari '25

Exhibition The Women of Soestdijk - October 12, 2024 to February 7, 2025

Together with Nicole Uniquole, Paleis Soestdijk is organizing a major autumn exhibition in 2023. Paleis Soestdijk also owes its illustrious status to the women who have been happy to spend their summers here over the past centuries. In the exhibition 'The women of Soestdijk', the rich past of this palace, combined with beautiful portraits, photos, contemporary fashion, design and craftsmanship, will be on display in detail.

In this exhibition you can also admire three objects on loan from Steltman Juwelier:

A silver tea and coffee set, 6-piece, model Versailles, with ivory handles, made by the silver factory Voorschoten 1946-1947. On a silver tray with curved fillet edge, made by Bennewitz in Amsterdam 1846.

A white gold Tiara designed and made in the Steltman Atelier, Lotus flowers set with brilliant cut diamonds and pear cut aquamarine.

A silver 5-sided silver bowl, decorated with enamelled pink drops in star shape. Made and signed by Steltman, The Hague, delivered to Queen Juliana ca 1950.
