Both of our stores at Plaats in The Hague have an in-house studio. For example, in the Steltman goldsmith studio, jewellery has been designed, created and handcrafted, repaired and restored for over 100 years. We are therefore very proud of the high-quality knowledge and experience of the craft of goldsmithing that our goldsmiths have. In the Steltman watchmaker studio, the two watchmakers are officially certified to carry out service and maintenance for well-known watch brands, which is also unique in the Netherlands.

The goldsmith's studio has a remarkable combination of creativity. The goldsmiths like to be inspired by beautiful gemstones, nature, beautiful shapes or by the customer's wishes.
The goldsmiths received their love for craftsmanship from 'old masters' and they keep their knowledge up-to-date by closely following technical developments without losing sight of their traditional heritage. Steltman's studio is also one of the few in the Netherlands that still masters the art of enamelling.
Steltman's goldsmith's studio is run by goldsmith Reinier Brom. At the famous Central St. Martin's College in London he learned not to think from existing forms, but to be truly innovative.
Watches
Not only is the watch collection of Steltman Watches rare, the watchmaker's workshop is also unique in the Netherlands. Our watchmakers have followed training courses with various top watch brands and are certified to provide service and maintenance in their own workshop on most watch models.
The passion and the latest technical feats of the watch brands are instilled in them from the very beginning; a prerequisite for keeping up with the fascinating profession of watchmaking!
