The company was founded in 1963 by goldsmith and jewellery designer Ole Lynggaard and is now run by the Lynggaard family. Charlotte Lynggaard, Ole Lynggaard's daughter, is the designer and creative director. His son, Søren Lynggaard, is CEO. Together they continue the Danish design traditions, now in the third generation. The company is a purveyor to the Danish Royal Family.
